Hello Everyone!

Summer is finally here and we are excited to share our second issue of the Philadelphia Women’s Journal with you. Thank you so much for the positive feedback we have received from our inaugural issue. It is so nice to be supported by the community, business owners, professionals and women of the Delaware Valley.

I know many of you are planning a summer vacation for you and your family and this can be especially challenging with the price of airline tickets. We have several articles in our Travel category on nearby vacation destinations in New Jersey. Please check out these articles as they cover some familiar shore destinations and a not so common location in South Jersey. Hopefully, this will make choosing a vacation spot easier for you and your family!

On another note, this issue also contains three articles that discuss the common theme of concern for
caregivers. Caregivers provide immeasurable support for loved ones in need of home based assistance.
But the stress caregivers endure is often overlooked or unnoticed. The three articles – Running on Empty (Home Instead), Nancy’s House, and Alzheimer’s Association: The Compassion to Care – present excellent overviews and provide helpful tips to readers or friends that might be caregivers now or become one in the future.
